The round camp badge opens the menu. The main controls stay on the right side of the map.
Tap Follow and allow location access. Your position appears as a blue dot, and the map follows you as you move. The status bar shows GPS accuracy and your straight-line distance and direction to camp.
Tap Following again to stop following. Your last position stays on the map.
Tap Drive to camp. Google Maps opens with Coalmine Camp as the destination and your current location as the starting point. This requires an internet connection.
While you are in the mapped trail area, tap Ride to camp and allow location access. The app draws the shortest route along the mapped trails as a pink line and lists each turn.
The route updates as you ride. Tap the pink route banner to see the steps again, or tap End when you no longer need guidance.
Tap Record ride before you set out. The app keeps Follow running and draws your track. Tap Stop when you finish, name the ride, then choose Download GPX to this device.
My rides shows rides for the current session. Use Open a GPX file there to bring a saved ride back onto the map later.
Open the app before leaving service and keep it open. If the online map then stops loading, the app switches to its bundled topo map and shows an Offline map badge. Trail lines, your GPS location, trail guidance and ride recording keep working while the app remains open.
Do not reload or fully close the app while offline. When the connection returns, the online map comes back automatically.
